Q: What is the process of getting countertops?

A:  You come out to our shop, pick out the material you like, you can bring a rough sketch/cabinets drawings and we can give you an estimate off of that, then once you decide you are going to go with us, we will come out to measure, and finally we will install the countertops.

 Q: What types of material do we offer?

A: We stock numerous types of granite, quartz, and we have some marble in stock. However, we can get limestone, quartzite, onyx, soapstone, or anything else you would like.

Q: Why isn’t your stock online?

A: Our inventory is constantly changing, as we are continuously importing material in from all over the world. However, granite colors that we always have in stock are Santa Cecilia, Santa Cecilia Light, Giallo Ornamental, New Venetian Gold, Dallas White, Opalescence, Absolute Black, Uba Tuba, Coffee Brown, Tan Brown, and Tropical Brown.

 Q: What if we didn’t like any of the material at you had in stock?

A: We can get any material from any supplier. We can give you a list of local suppliers in the metro area for you to go to and you can look at their material. If you find material there that you like, then you can put that material on hold and they will send it to us.

Q: How does pricing vary between the different types of stone?

A: Granite is the cheapest option, especially our in stock selection. Our in stock material will always be your most cost effective option, no matter the stone type.

Q: Do you offer different edging options?

A: We have several different edging options that you are able to choose from.

Q: Do you offer sinks?

A: We offer 50/50 bowls, 60/40 bowls-either side bigger, and a single large bowl, which are all 18-gauge stainless steel undermount sinks. We also have white rectangle and oval vanity sinks. We give customers the option of choosing one our sinks or using their own.

 Q: How fast is your turn around time?

A: It all varies. Sometimes it can be as fast as 2 days and sometimes it can be 10 days. Call the office to get a better time frame at that time.

 Q: How do I take care of my countertops?

A: We can provide you with a care sheet that explains how to properly clean your countertops. For sealing purposes, we suggest going to Home Depot or a similar store for a granite impregnator/sealer and applying it every 1-3 years. Lighter colored stone countertops should be sealed more often than darker colored countertops. If there is an unusual spot or a spot you are concerned with, give us a call and we can decide the next step to take.
